If you want to solve that mystery, first you have to discover or realize that either you can let your mind create ideas about the question or you can let your emotions respond to the question. It is important to understand that our intellect can get mixed up in unlimited quantities of spin – self-delusions – castles in the air – or worlds of imagination, so our only chance to really understand something, like ourselves, life and death, the creator and the universe, etc., is by becoming able to feel what is good and right. Being able to feel if something feels good and right, is the only way we can really determine if something is good and right.

Most people identify themselves with their current form, for example “my name is James and I am from England.” But that is a far too limited perspective, if you want to understand your real identity and realize your true potential.

You get the most immediate illustration that the perspective is too limited, by taking into consideration that you have incarnated hundreds of times, and all these identities, where you have lived in many different countries in many ages, are also your identities.

But why can most people not remember much from their previous lives?

To evolve might be defined in several ways, but it can certainly be defined as gaining or regaining (new) parts or aspects of oneself and life.

In few words, the reason that these parts of ourselves are not already integrated in ourselves and our life is, because at some point in time we have accidentally judged or condemned – and thus misunderstood – them. In that way we have not only denied those parts of ourselves and life and pushed them away from us – out of the awareness – and shut them out. We have also locked them in the denied state. Popularly speaking, we have put them in ‘jail’ or suffocated them in a sort of mental ‘straitjackets’.

To oppose free access to contraceptives and abortion is actually a denial of life. God has given us all a free will, so if a woman (or a man) can feel that it is not the right time or right situation in general to have a child, this feeling has to be acknowledged, expressed, and acted on as balanced as possible. Else the person is suffocating himself or herself.
